The Black Pearl Ghost (흑진귀) was the sister of Gaeun Lee and the main antagonist of the episode "The Unbreakable Curse of the Girl's hair
Before Her die[]
The Black Pearl Ghost was the protective big sister of Gaeun Lee. She helped Gaeun with bullies. After dying she went to live inside Gaeun's hair.
Die[]
Three boys took Gaeun's hat, and were throwing it to each other. Gaeun's big sister tried to retrieve Gae-un's hat when it flew off the bridge,(caught it) but slipped and fell to her death.
Appearance[]
Physical Appearance[]
As a human, she is taller than Ga-eun she has fair skin, and wears the same white dress but with a light pink cardigan on top, she has medium length black hair with curtain bangs, her eyes are a dark grey color.
As a ghost, she has light grey purple skin, her hair is a deep indigo with it basically being spread apart and used to prop her up in the air, she has a white dress on, the collar and ends of the sleeves as well as the trimming on the skirt is ripped up, her eyes are a red mixed with orange, including the sclarea, her mouth is a normal mouth, except there's no teeth and there are pieces of skin in-between her mouth.
Episode Appearance[]
Black Pearl mainly just appears in Season 1, Episode 2 in "The Unbreakable Curse of the Girls Hair" where we're first introduced to the introverted Ga-eun and to the Black Pearl Ghost and also appeared in the following episodes, where the ghost was summoned by Ha-ri/Doo-ri.
Personality[]
As a ghost, the Black Pearl Ghost was dangerous and protective to the point it was overbearing for Ga-eun and even made Ga-eun tell her it's Way too much, and her desire to protect Ga-eun ended up driving away possible friendships Ga-eun could've made, and ended up with Ga-eun getting bullied even more. which made her even more aggressive.
As a human, she was kind and compassionate towards Ga-eun/ Gaeun. She was caring and reassuring when Ga-eun was sad, also according to Ga-eun everyone liked her sister, which might've meant she was an Extrovert and very sweet to not only Ga-eun but to many others.
Powers[]
- Entrapment/Blockage: She can use her hair to trap people or block exits.
- Possession: She can possess others hair.
- Manipulation: She can manipulate the host's hair and use it to her will.
